The Traditions® Vortek StrikerFire VAPR™ Rifle comes complete with a mounted and bore-sighted 3-9x40mm Leupold™ VX Freedom™ UltimateSlam Muzzleloader Scope and Muzzle-Loaders.com soft or hard rifle case. The VX Freedom UltimateSlam™ S.A.B.R reticle is the preeminent black powder scope designed specifically for muzzleloaders, taking the guesswork out of hold over angles for even the most difficult of shots. The exclusive ballistic reticle, coinciding with the most popular black powder loads today, provides you with exact aiming points from 50 to 300 yards. The glass engraved ballistic reticle is unbreakable, and the Multi-Coat 4™ optics are clear and bright.

The Traditions® Vortek Strikerfire VAPR™ Muzzleloader Package comes with a Traditions™ 3-9x40mm Scope and Deluxe soft rifle case. The Vortek StrikerFire™ VAPR takes in-line muzzleloaders to the next level by removing the need for an external hammer and replacing it with an internal StrikerFire™ System. The Strikerfire VAPR™ muzzleloader comes with a 1:24″ fast twist barrel that is engineered to properly stabilize the high BC muzzleloading bullets used in many modern muzzleloaders.

The StrikerFire™ system works on the same principle as modern center-fire rifle safeties. To cock the gun, simply slide the striker button forward until it locks, then fire. The recessed de-cocking button allows for quick and quiet de-cocking of the firearm. The gun also comes equipped with an automatic de-cocking mechanism, so when the gun is opened, it is automatically de-cocked. By eliminating the external hammer you get faster lock times, plus the ability to mount your scope closer to the bore allows the gun to operate with less weight. 

Traditions® equipped the StrikerFire™ with some additional features. The StrikerFire™ is outfitted with a TAC2™ two-stage trigger that is set at 2 pounds and is creep free. The StrikerFire™ also features a premium Cerakote™ finish, matte black stock, one-piece Accelerator Breech Plug™ that allows you to fire both loose or pelletized powder without changing the breech plug, a Dual Safety System, and Speed Load System that enables easier loading and more consistent groupings.
